Support Equipment Engineering-Technician I

Job Responsibilities:

Assists technicians in performing planned maintenance and corrosion treatment/prevention measures on SE, tools, and other equipment. Conducts and documents daily tool inventories, inspects/maintains shop personal protective equipment (PPE), performs custodial tasks, and will be trained in the operation of a standard forklift and overhead crane. Physical activities include regular walking, kneeling, light to heavy lifting (>35 lbs.), and/or climbing. May be required to perform other tasks as needed. Travel is anticipated to be approximately 120 hours per year. Position is located in Patuxent River, MD. Requisition ESI0088.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must demonstrate the ability to assist technicians and engineers in the testing, repair, and modification of common and peculiar Support Equipment (SE) for military aircraft.
  • Needs to be proficient in the use of common mechanical shop tools and test equipment, as well as demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office products to manage databases and generate basic test documents.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license, be able to acquire applicable SE licenses in support of daily activities, and be able to obtain/retain a DoD security clearance.

Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the Strike Planning and Execution Systems Program Office (PMA-281) and the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC), Architecture and Capabilities for Autonomy in the Naval Enterprise (ARCANE), or the Naval Mission Planning System (NavMPS) teams. Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes and/or tracks program/project requirements, status, budgets, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.   • Requires a BA/BS degree and three (3) to ten (10) years of experience applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Acquisition Program Analyst, Journeyman

Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the Tactical Airlift Program Office’s (PMA-207) KC-130 and Fixed Wing Airlift/Operations Support Aircraft (VR/OSA) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Duties primarily involve supporting related program/project acquisition tasking, to include assisting with development, modification, and tracking of Program Initiation Documents (PID); assisting IPTs with procurement planning efforts including conducting Procurement Planning Conferences (PPCs); analyzing PID data for accuracy and completeness; and preparing, planning, and generating acquisition documentation and briefing materials. Other duties include collecting, organizing, and interpreting data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition, production, and sustainment programs; and applying government-instituted processes for program documentation, procurement planning, and acquisition support. Position directly supports the PMA-299 Digital Interoperability Integrated Product Team (IPT) by applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzes and/or tracks program/project requirements, statuses, budgets, and schedules; performs management, technical, and/or business case analyses; and collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition, production, or sustainment programs. Additionally, assists in the development of Statement(s) of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements List(s) (CDRL), and will apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
