Job Responsibilities:

This position supports the VP of Administration in the Security/Travel Office located in California, Maryland. Tasking primarily involves security and travel administration. Security administration responsibilities include indoctrinating/briefing new employees; initiating/reviewing/ processing E-APPs ; debriefing/out-processing employees including submitting separation data in DISS and NBIS; preparing DISS visit requests and BASICs forms; validating background investigation data for CACs; processing DD-254s; providing special and annual briefings/security education; completing SAAR forms; monitoring IA training; updating the SPP/Emergency Plan and other security documents; preparing for annual DCSA Security Review inspections; and perform various other security-related tasks. Travel related tasking includes tracking travel vouchers; validating vouchers for accuracy; ensuring approvals are received; and verifying compliance with Federal Travel Regulations. Also, provides travel coordination support including making travel reservations and assisting travelers. Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, possess a valid US driver’s license, pass a drug screening test according to U.S. Government standards, and obtain and retain a Top Secret level DoD security clearance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Travel certifications are beneficial.
  • Completion of industrial security courses through the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) STEPP is required within 90 days of employment. Ability to complete additional courses to obtain FSO certification is required.

Job Responsibilities:

Position will perform technical support and operations for NAVAIR’s Electromagnetic Environmental Effects branch. Will conduct standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations and follow standard work methods on recurring assignments. Responsibilities include operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining simulation/high voltage equipment and components used to perform electromagnetic pulse, lightning, electro-static discharge, p-static, or similar phenomena test and evaluation. Will operate and maintain diagnostic and data collection systems used to monitor electromagnetic pulse, lightning, electro-static discharge, p-static systems performance. Other duties involve following specific instructions to assemble/construct simple/standard equipment or parts and service/repair simple instruments or equipment. May conduct a variety of tests using established methods, prepare test specimens, adjust/operate equipment, record test data, and note deviations resulting from equipment malfunction/observational errors. Also, may extract engineering data from non-standardized sources, process the data using well-defined methods including elementary algebra, and present the data in prescribed format. Job Responsibilities:

Provide a program/project support to the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Office (PMA-251). In supporting the Level 1 Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for Nimitz Class Aircraft Carriers, Air Capable Ships, and Marine Corps programs, duties involve assisting the Level 2 and Level 3 IPTLs to manage, lead, and execute their respective PMA-251 programs utilizing acquisition related NAVAIR Enterprise tools. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a military/technical trade school resulting in an Aviation Ordnanceman (AO) Navy Occupational Specialty (NOS) Code A420 or an Aircraft Ordnance Technician, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 6531/6541 in the USMC.
  • Must have four (4) years of practical experience as an AO technician performing organizational/intermediate level operations and maintenance on AWSE.
