Senior Logistics Manager

Job Responsibilities: 

This position supports the Airborne Electronic Attack Program Office’s (PMA-234) Joint Program Office (JPO) for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Cooperative Program. Responsibilities involve the management of spare equipment and component stock for the NGJ program, facilitating collaboration between the U.S. Navy (USN) and the RAAF. This will include working closely with the RAAF Cooperative Program Personnel at RAAF Base Amberley, Australia, while sharing duties between the NGJ, P-8A Poseidon, and MQ-4C Triton program offices. This position will oversee ERP Warehouse Audits, manage stock governance and warehouse operations, and ensure alignment of Master Spares List (MSL) allowances. The role includes resolving discrepancies between USN and RAAF logistics systems, improving operational processes, and monitoring stock postures and repair turnaround times. Additionally, this position will assist in developing documentation, updating processes, and facilitating communication between NAVSUP, USN, and RAAF stakeholders. Duties include audit compliance support via ERP warehouse stock management; RAAF and HQ NAVSUP/USN stakeholder engagement to resolve issues and improve processes; Data Analysis to monitor stock postures, identify/resolve discrepancies, and identify areas for improvement; monitoring, filling, and adjusting MSL allowances, as required, as well as ensuring alignment of MSL data between USN and RAAF systems; developing and updating NAVSUP processes and procedures; creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for audits and warehouse management; monitoring and management of obsolescence issues to ensure the availability of critical components; and resolving discrepancies between USN and RAAF ERP systems to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency. Other duties include loading repairable end-use requisitions through ERP systems, managing repairable receipts via the Australian Government Portal, overseeing goods receipt processes to ensure timely and accurate documentation, and coordinating part number purchases to address emergent requirements. May be tasked to perform additional duties on an as-needed basis. Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Must have ten (10) years of DoW-related integrated logistics support experience within an aircraft platform or mission system acquisition, production, or sustainment program.  
  • Requires an MS/MA degree, OR a BS/BA degree and an additional four (4) years of relevant experience, OR a HS Diploma/GED and an additional ten (10) years of relevant experience. 
  • Backgrounds in Naval Aviation acquisition and/or operational logistics along with experience with Navy ERP, MILSTRIP, FedMall, One Touch Support, PDREP, PIEE, etc. are highly desired. 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen  
  • Requires an active DoD Secret Level Clearance

DMSMS Logistics Analyst

DMSMS Logistics Analyst

Job Responsibilities: 

Functions as a logistician in support of the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) Program Office’s (PMA-290) P-8A Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Team. Includes independent and team efforts in the performance of DMSMS, obsolescence, and ILS/IPS-related analysis; requirements definition; and DMSMS planning, development, integration, implementation, and management activities as they apply to domestic and FMS MPRA platforms. Duties also include assisting with PMA-290 DMSMS BOMs, while using applicable DMSMS tools, GIDEP Alerts, CDRLs, supplier/OEM surveys, and supplier/OEM reports to mitigate program obsolescence risks. As applicable, this position will also perform various ILS tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems, as well as support technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; analysis of systems acquisition requirements; lifecycle cost analysis and control; and ILS/R&M program management analysis and T&E planning/execution. Qualifications & Requirements:  

  • BS/BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree. 
  • At least six (6) years of experience in operational logistics support or maintenance engineering. Three (3) years’ experience must be in technical analysis of operational ILS requirements and three (3) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning. 
  • Experience or education demonstrating ability to perform DMSMS support, IPS studies, logistics analysis, and/or evaluations in support of DoW weapons systems/equipment is also required.  
  • Previous experience with P-8A Poseidon and/or P-3C Orion aircraft acquisition logistics and/or operational maintenance activities is highly desired.    
  • Must be a US citizen, have a valid state driver’s license, and be able to obtain/retain an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.

R&M Engineer

R&M Engineer 

Job Responsibilities: 

Provides direct support to NAWCAD by developing and evaluating Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) and Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program plans and requirements for Naval Aviation aircraft and support systems. Performs PHM and R&M analyses to support predictions, allocations, risk assessments, and metrics/data development, including Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI), testability analyses, FMEA/FMECA, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs). Supports the development and implementation of platform health management capabilities and reviews Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to assess PHM impacts. Participates in Reliability Control Boards (RCBs), Failure Review Boards (FRBs), BIT Review Boards (BRBs), and software and hardware design improvement activities. Reviews OEM and supplier deliverables, collects and analyzes on- and off-board PHM data, and supports FRACAS population and analysis to inform organic health management solutions and system reliability improvements. Requisition #ESI 0174

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Requires a BS degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, aeronautics, or electronics and at least three (3) years of engineering (R&M or System Safety related) or relevant PHM experience to include testing and evaluating health management systems.

  • Must have the ability to Travel an estimated 6 times per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Position provides maintenance and technical support for NAVAIR’s Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) branch. Duties include coordinating facility maintenance activities or associated facility work projects. Tasks involve operating, maintaining, and coordinating operations of the aircraft hangar, anechoic chamber facility equipment, and aircraft ground support equipment to include electrical service, hydraulic carts, air or liquid cooling carts, fuel tank inerting/purging equipment, forklifts, aircraft ground handling, and hoisting operations. Additional responsibilities include operating test equipment, facilities, and/or aircraft systems during tests, ensuring compliance, and conducting tests in accordance with approved test plans or standard operating procedures. Other duties include participating in repositioning aircraft as a wing walker, brake rider, or ground aircraft director during towing, ground taxi, or ground engine-turn operations. Functions entail providing support for electrical power quality testing and evaluation, including voltage and frequency transients/modulation, voltage distortion, and power interruption on various aircraft, shipboard, ground vehicle, and vendor prototype components and equipment. Additionally, the candidate will interface test articles with programmable power supplies and data acquisition equipment to conduct power quality tests, followed by analysis of test article responses for compliance with MIL-SPECS/MIL-STDs. Qualifications & Requirements:       

  • High school diploma/GED. 
  • At least ten (10) years of practical experience in propulsion system installation, repairs, and maintenance. Must also possess a general knowledge of engines, gearboxes, lubricant systems, bearing and gear systems, and hydraulic systems of various engines and accessories acquired through on-the-job exposure.  
  • Military or technical trade school in propulsion systems, electricity, electronics, avionics, or mechanics; or completion of at least 30 semester hours of related technical courses. 
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of Gas Turbine Engines in a test cell environment or other test cell experience is highly desired.
