Configuration/Data Management Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
Position supports Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and the Configuration Management (CM) / Data Management (DM) Department. Support consists of coordinating and reviewing CM acquisition documentation and schedules; reviewing CDRLSs, SOWs, and timelines for CM compliance; attending Data Requirements Review Boards; assisting with processing Engineering change Proposals (ECPs) through the NAVAIR ECP Process (NAVAIRINST 4130); knowledge and understanding of the various ECP types and associated Change Control Board (CCB) actions and support of other related/associated CM/DM processes. Other duties include collecting, organizing, and interpreting data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition, production, and sustainment programs; and applying government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and DM. Position is located in Patuxent River, MD, and some telework may be authorized on a case-by-case basis. Requisition #ESI 0121
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A BA/BS degree and three (3) to ten (10) years of experience within program/project Configuration Management (CM) / Data Management (DM) related activities. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS degree with and additional two (2) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
- Must have CM/DM experience in program/project/management analysis activities.
- Possess/retain an active Secret Level DoD security clearance.
- Experience with CM/DM tools and MS Office Products (including Project) is highly desired/preferred.
- Salary range: $80K – $120K/year, negotiable
