Program Analyst, Junior (PMD Contract Support)

Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the NAWCAD Program Management Department’s (PMD) business operations and activities. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and ensuring the effective management of the PMD CSS PM Support contract. General duties include: applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzing requirements, status, budgets, and schedules; performs management, technical, or business case analyses; collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs; tracks program/project status and schedules; and applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Specific duties include:

Documentation and Reporting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of contract documentation. Ensure all records are up-to-date and complete and support the preparation of performance reports.

Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis related to contract performance, budget, and compliance. Identify trends, variances, and potential issues for timely resolution. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor contractor compliance with contract terms and conditions, tracking deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.

Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication between the contracting officer, COR, and contractor. Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting outcomes.

Financial Management: Track contract expenditures and ensure financial obligations are met in accordance with contract terms. Supports NAWCAD Branch Heads with requirements driven from program level, mitigating risk, and optimizing business operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree. Allowable BA/BS substitutions: AA/AS plus two (2) years additional experience OR HS Diploma/GED and four (4) years additional experience. 0 – 3 years experience in program analysis/operations related activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Duties include applying engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, fabricate, modify, install, test, evaluate, and/or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for the P-8A Poseidon Integrated Systems Test Laboratory (PISTL). Also, reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares, and/or applies engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information. Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components. Compiles, processes, reduces, and/or analyzes test data results. Performs Technical Directive (TD) and Airframe Change (AFC) wiring installations in laboratories and on Fleet aircraft, as required. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least four (4) years of design, development, fabrication, integration, installation, modification, testing, training, and/or operational experience with aircraft avionics/electronics systems or similar.
  • Also requires the completion of a military technical school or civilian trade school or completion of 30 semester hours in a technical discipline at an accredited college.
  • Experience with P-3C Orion or P-8A Poseidon aircraft/laboratory mission systems hardware/software is highly desired.
  • Experience in electrical connector, wire repair, and Fiber Optic cable fabrication/repair is highly desired.
  • Requires an Active Top Secret level DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides high-level administrative support to the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Office (PMA-251). Primary duties involve analyzing requirements, status, budget and schedules; collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting data relating to project acquisition and product programs; and tracking program/project status and schedules. Other tasks include conducting research, preparing/printing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Will collaborate with functional team members and leadership. Some travel will be required. Positional duties may include other tasks on an as-needed basis.
