Journeyman In-Flight Mission Specialist/Analyst:

Job Responsibilities:

This position provides support for CNO Project K-0416 (Beartrap/Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare Intelligence (AAI)) efforts to include conducting recurring standardized aircrew training, project analysis, post mission data reviews, and data collection system operation. Tasks may include delivering AAI technical and tactical training, evaluating aircrew operations and performance, providing training feedback, performing post-flight reconstruction and analysis, conducting full spectrum analysis of collected data sets, providing input on current and future collection systems, and supporting AAI operations. Additional responsibilities involve acquiring a Civilian Project Specialist designation to support inflight intelligence data collection missions and training events. May be tasked to perform additional duties on an as-needed basis. Position is located at NAS Sigonella, Italy. Requisition ESI0116.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Requires AA/AS degree and eight (8) years of experience with CNO Project K-0416 Beartrap/AAI providing engineering management and supervision of multiple projects in the AAI community; OR a HS diploma and ten (10) years of AAI experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active DoD Top Secret-level security clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain qualification for flight onboard naval aircraft.
  • Military veterans with P-3C Orion/P-8A Poseidon acoustic AW/AWO experience are highly desired.

Program Analyst, Journeyman

Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the NAWCAD Program Management Department’s (PMD) business operations and activities. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and ensuring the effective management of the PMD CSS PM Support contract. Specific duties, such as documentation and reporting, will include assisting in the preparation and maintenance of contract documentation, as well as ensuring all records are up-to-date and complete and support the preparation of performance reports. Data analysis related to contract performance, budget, and compliance will need to be conducted, as well as the identification of trends, variances, and potential issues for timely resolution. Another task will be the monitoring of contractor compliance with contract terms and conditions, tracking deliverables, timelines, and quality standards. Other duties may include the facilitation of communication between the contracting officer, COR, and contractor; coordination to organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting outcomes. Financial Management will also be expected through the tracking of contract expenditures and ensuring financial obligations are met in accordance with contract terms. Employee will support the NAWCAD Brach Heads with requirements driven from program level, mitigating risk, and optimizing business operations. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Requires three (3) to ten (10) years of experience supporting and analyzing NAVAIR/NAWCAD or DoD-related program/project objectives and activities.
  • Requires a BA/BS degree. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS degree with an additional two (2) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional four (4) years of applicable experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active Secret level DoD security clearance.
