Program Analyst, Junior (PMD Contract Support)

Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the NAWCAD Program Management Department’s (PMD) business operations and activities. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and ensuring the effective management of the PMD CSS PM Support contract. General duties include: applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzing requirements, status, budgets, and schedules; performs management, technical, or business case analyses; collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs; tracks program/project status and schedules; and applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Specific duties include:

Documentation and Reporting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of contract documentation. Ensure all records are up-to-date and complete and support the preparation of performance reports.

Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis related to contract performance, budget, and compliance. Identify trends, variances, and potential issues for timely resolution. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor contractor compliance with contract terms and conditions, tracking deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.

Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication between the contracting officer, COR, and contractor. Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting outcomes.

Financial Management: Track contract expenditures and ensure financial obligations are met in accordance with contract terms. Supports NAWCAD Branch Heads with requirements driven from program level, mitigating risk, and optimizing business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Duties include applying engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, fabricate, modify, install, test, evaluate, and/or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament/ordnance, or related data processing systems for the P-8A Poseidon Integrated Systems Test Laboratory (PISTL). Also, reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares, and/or applies engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information. Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components. Compiles, processes, reduces, and/or analyzes test data results. Performs Technical Directive (TD) and Airframe Change (AFC) wiring installations in laboratories and on Fleet aircraft, as required. Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least four (4) years of design, development, fabrication, integration, installation, modification, testing, training, and/or operational experience with aircraft avionics/electronics systems or similar.
• Also requires the completion of a military technical school or civilian trade school or completion of 30 semester hours in a technical discipline at an accredited college.
• Experience with P-3C Orion or P-8A Poseidon aircraft/laboratory mission systems hardware/software is highly desired.

Executive Administrative Assistant, Journeyman

Job Responsibilities:

Provides high-level administrative support to the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Office (PMA-251). Primary duties involve analyzing requirements, status, budget and schedules; collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting data relating to project acquisition and product programs; and tracking program/project status and schedules. Other tasks include conducting research, preparing/printing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Will collaborate with functional team members and leadership. Some travel will be required. Positional duties may include other tasks on an as-needed basis. Journeyman In-Flight Mission Specialist/Analyst:

Job Responsibilities:

This position provides support for CNO Project K-0416 (Beartrap/Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare Intelligence (AAI)) efforts to include conducting recurring standardized aircrew training, project analysis, post mission data reviews, and data collection system operation. Tasks may include delivering AAI technical and tactical training, evaluating aircrew operations and performance, providing training feedback, performing post-flight reconstruction and analysis, conducting full spectrum analysis of collected data sets, providing input on current and future collection systems, and supporting AAI operations. Additional responsibilities involve acquiring a Civilian Project Specialist designation to support inflight intelligence data collection missions and training events. May be tasked to perform additional duties on an as-needed basis. Position is located at NAS Sigonella, Italy. Requisition ESI0116.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Requires AA/AS degree and eight (8) years of experience with CNO Project K-0416 Beartrap/AAI providing engineering management and supervision of multiple projects in the AAI community; OR a HS diploma and ten (10) years of AAI experience.

Program Analyst, Journeyman

Job Responsibilities:

Provide a program/project support to the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Office (PMA-251). In supporting the Level 1 Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for Nimitz Class Aircraft Carriers, Air Capable Ships, and Marine Corps programs, duties involve assisting the Level 2 and Level 3 IPTLs to manage, lead, and execute their respective PMA-251 programs utilizing acquisition related NAVAIR Enterprise tools. Tasks also include applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzing requirements, statuses, budgets, and schedules; and performing management, technical, and/or business case analyses. Other duties may include collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting data related to ALRE acquisition and product programs; tracking program/project status and schedules; and applying government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management. Engineering Technician III/IV (Fuels)

Job Responsibilities:

Position will assist facility technicians and engineers in performing technical tasks during the installation, operation, maintenance, and test of aviation fueling and lubrication systems. Additionally, this position will provide technical support for equipment used to evaluate propulsion, electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical systems for military aircraft and associated test systems. Qualifications & Requirements:

• A high school diploma/GED and completion of a military or technical trade school in propulsion systems, electricity, electronics, avionics, or mechanics; or completion of at least 30 semester hours of related technical courses.
• Must have at least six (6) years for a Tech III and ten (10) years for a Tech IV of practical experience in a related fuels/lubrication field with demonstrated experience in handling/transporting commercial or military aircraft fuels along with the operation/repair of associated fuel distribution and containment systems.
• Navy/Marine Corps aviation shipboard fuels experience and Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Fuels (ABF) “A” School backgrounds are highly desired.

Propulsion & Power Controls Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Providing technical services and support for test and evaluation activities of aviation propulsion fuels and lubricants, rotor spin facilities, power generation accessories, unmanned air vehicles, and helicopter transmission programs. Location: NAS Patuxent River, MD. Requisition: ESI0030.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BS degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics from an accredited ABET college/university and a broad technical knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and electronic data acquisition, reduction, and processing systems.
• At least 8 years of experience supporting RDT&E programs for military aircraft/weapon systems.
• Must have demonstrated experience providing major aviation electronics and/or instrumentation subsystems design, analysis, procurement, and engineering guidance.
• Experience in test facility control systems for test article & facility operations and instrumentation development/design for control of engine and mission systems simulations is preferred.
• The ability to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
