Computer Specialist/Systems Administrator

Job Responsibilities: 

Positional duties involve providing systems administration support to maintain closed-loop and open-loop network functionality; performing data backup, storage, and archiving routines; developing and submitting inputs to software user documentation; complying with NAVAIR information security guidelines; maintaining Cybersecurity Risk Management Construct (CSRMC) authorizations/certifications; supporting configuration management requirements; and operating computers, network servers, backup storage devices, and other peripheral equipment. May be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Qualification & Requirements: 

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related technical specialty; OR a HS diploma/GED AND an additional ten (10) years of combined education/experience working within a relevant technical field; OR a related AA/AS degree and an additional four (4) years of qualifying experience.  
  • Basic experience of at least three (3) years of computer systems related support. 
  • Certifications in Security+ CE (or higher) and in at least one Microsoft Operating System (OS) within 180 days of employment.  
  • Knowledge and skills relating to Windows Server 2016/Windows 10 and Active directory are essential, along with ability to address service requests, routine server maintenance, and server consolidation.  
  • Experience with Windows Server OS Security directives, DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), and Track-IT or other Helpdesk Applications.  
  • Top-secret level security clearance and U.S. citizenship 
  • Salary Range: $75,000 – $115,000, negotiable

Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Functions entail providing support for electrical power quality testing and evaluation, including voltage and frequency transients/modulation, voltage distortion, and power interruption on various aircraft, shipboard, ground vehicle, and vendor prototype components and equipment. Additionally, the candidate will interface test articles with programmable power supplies and data acquisition equipment to conduct power quality tests, followed by analysis of test article responses for compliance with MIL-SPECS/MIL-STDs. In particular, candidate must have experience with MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, and FAA RTCA DO-160. May be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Candidate requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited ABET college or university.
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience supporting RDT&E programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including 2 years planning, directing, and/or participating in aircraft and laboratory testing.
  • Position requires knowledge of test planning, data collection, data analysis, test report writing, and presentation of results. Further requirements include specialized knowledge and experience in the design, installation, operation, calibration, maintenance and repair of power quality test facilities, associated equipment, and their control systems. 
  • Candidate must be able to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
