Senior Operations Logistics Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Duties include serving as a senior-level logistician on the P-8A Increment 3 Program assisting with program management, acquisition, Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS), and life-cycle management evolutions for both mission and aircraft systems support. Responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of ILS/IPS-related analysis, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management efforts as they apply to domestic and FMS P-8A in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs. Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD, and includes a hybrid work environment (telework and in-office). Requisition #2023-054
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree, ten (10) years’ experience in operational logistics/maintenance engineering, and four (4) years of supervising three or more logisticians in support of an acquisition or operational command. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of relevant experience in operational logistics or maintenance engineering can be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
- Previous experience with P-3C Orion/P-8A Poseidon aircraft acquisition and/or operational logistics activities is highly desired.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain/retain a Secret security level clearance.
