ALRE Program Analyst, Journeyman

Job Responsibilities:

Provide a program/project support to the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Office (PMA-251). In supporting the Level 1 Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for Nimitz Class Aircraft Carriers, Air Capable Ships, and Marine Corps programs, duties involve assisting the Level 2 and Level 3 IPTLs to manage, lead, and execute their respective PMA-251 programs utilizing acquisition related NAVAIR Enterprise tools. Tasks also include applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzing requirements, statuses, budgets, and schedules; and performing management, technical, and/or business case analyses. Other duties may include collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting data related to ALRE acquisition and product programs; tracking program/project status and schedules; and applying government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree and a minimum of three (3) years of experience performing duties as described above. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS degree with an additional two (2) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional four (4) years of experience.
  • Must be a US citizen, have a valid state driver’s license, and must possess an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
  • Must have NAVAIR program management/project analysis experience.
  • Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) Procurement Management Tool (PMT) and Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT), Acquisition Management (ACQ MAT), Clik tools, and MS Office Products (including Project), and COM/NAV-related programs is highly desired/preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the PMA-299 Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) by applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzes and/or tracks program/project requirements, statuses, budgets, and schedules; performs management, technical, and/or business case analyses; and collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition, production, or sustainment programs. Additionally, assists in the development of Statement(s) of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements List(s) (CDRL), and will apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management. Job Responsibilities:

Position directly supports the H-60 Joint Program Office (PMA-299) and the Configuration Management (CM) / Data Management (DM) Department. Duties involve supporting CM/DM across five H60 rotary wing platforms and Foreign Military Sales (FMS): SH60B, SH60F, HH60H, MH60R, and MH60S. Support consists of coordinating and reviewing CM acquisition documentation and schedules; reviewing CDRLs, SOWs and timelines for CM compliance; attending Data Requirements Review Boards; assisting with processing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) through the NAVAIR ECP Process (NAVAIRINST 4130); knowledge and understanding of the various ECP types and associated Change Control Board (CCB) actions : and support of other related/associated CM/DM processes. Other duties include collecting, organizing, and interpreting data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition, production, and sustainment programs; and applying government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and DM. Senior Operations Logistics Manager

Senior Operations Logistics Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Duties include serving as a senior-level logistician on the P-8A Increment 3 Program assisting with Missions Systems Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS) and life-cycle management evolutions while supporting the APML and associated DAPMLs. Responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of ILS/IPS-related analysis, ECP/TD support, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management efforts as they apply to domestic and FMS P-8A in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs. Duties may also include development of PowerPoint slides and supporting logistics presentations. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree, ten (10) years’ experience in operational logistics and/or maintenance engineering, and four (4) years of supervising three or more logisticians in support of an acquisition or operational command.
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of relevant experience in operational logistics or maintenance engineering can be substituted for a BS/BA degree; additionally, an MS/MA degree or designation as a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) may be substituted for two (2) years of required logistics experience.
  • Previous experience with P-8A Poseidon and/or P-3C Orion aircraft acquisition logistics and/or operational maintenance activities is highly desired.
  • Must be a US citizen, have a valid state driver’s license, and be able to obtain/retain an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
