Administrative Assistant (Part-time, on-call)
Duties include performing basic administrative/receptionist support, preparing travel requests, coordinating travel/lodging arrangements, and assisting in completing travel claims. Also performs word processing, data entry, transcription, graphics preparation, digital filing, document reproduction, email/mail distribution, and other administrative duties, as required. Maintains office supply inventory and orders replacements as needed. Schedules conference rooms, video teleconferences, and meetings. May be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Qualifications & Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of three (3) years office-related administrative support experience, along with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Effective communication, demonstration of good customer service skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, and type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- Proficiency in use of Defense Travel System (DTS), BASICS II, Common Message Processor (CMP) for Naval Messages, Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS), and MS Access are highly desired.
- Must be able to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
