Aerospace Engineer, Junior
Job Responsibilities:
This position will provide technical support to the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Support Equipment (SE) Test and Evaluation Branch. Responsibilities include applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate Naval Aviation SE. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. The candidate will support senior personnel in analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and evaluation of hardware, software, components, or systems related to Naval Aviation SE. Position is on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD. Requisition # ESI0092
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Requires a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited ABET college or university.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, possess a valid US driver’s license, pass a drug screening test according to U.S. Government standards, and obtain and retain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is highly desired.
