Program/Project/Management Analyst – Senior (Contingent Hire)

Job Responsibilities:

This position supports PMA-207 Tactical Airlift Program Office. Responsibilities include applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. May perform critical program management, technical, or business analysis of program acquisition systems and provides recommendations to ensure program success. Will participate as a member of and supports the overall Program and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Duties also include collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting technical data, configuration data, and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs. May track program/project status and schedules and assist in developing program acquisition documentation such as Procurement Initiation Documents (PID), Statement of Works (SOW), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL). May also provide updates to NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) Tools and advise on status of financial and procurement actions. Other duties may include tracking program/project status, earned value management, schedules, Configuration and/or Data Management (CM/DM), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and Government Furnished Information (GFI). May be tasked to perform additional duties on an as-needed basis. Some travel may be required. Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD. Requisition 2023-009.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Position requires a MA/MS degree and 10 (ten) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis related to DoD weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of six (6) years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning. Allowable Substitution: BA/BS degree plus two (2) years additional work experience; OR AA/AS degree plus four (4) years additional work experience; OR High School/GED degree and six (6) years additional work experience.
  • Must be a US citizen and possess an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
  • Familiarity with PMA-207 processes and program requirements is highly desired.
