Corrosion Prevention Equipment Specialist:
Candidate must have a High School degree or GED and Technical Training in a relevant technical field applicable to aircraft corrosion prevention/control. Specifically, candidates must have completed Navy "A" or "C" school or service equivalent school or attended OEM/Factory technical training programs related to the C-130 aircraft. Candidates must have at least five (5) years of practical (hands-on) corrosion prevention/control experience within the past seven (7) years. Two (2) years of this experience must have been at or above the military E-5 level or the non-military equivalent. Non-military equivalent experience level is at or above the senior journeyman level, senior electronics or engineering technician level, etc. Former USN/USMC metalsmiths with corrosion control/prevention training experience preferred. Candidate must be able to obtain/retain Secret level DoD security clearance, and may be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located in Stewart, NY. Engineering Technician (ATE/TPS):
Position requires a High School diploma or GED, completion of a Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Operator/Maintainer course, and four years' experience operating/maintaining CASS stations. Qualification as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) and/or CASS calibration technician is highly desired. Must be familiar with the use of common and peculiar shop tools and test equipment. Functional duties include providing support to engineers and technicians in the maintenance and operation of electronic Consolidated Automated Support Systems (eCASS) within a test and evaluation environment. Additional duties include the preparation of engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation, as well as performing functions such as Operational Test Program Set (OTPS) testing, government acceptance testing, and other U.S. Navy acquisition and sustainment support. Training for standard forklifts, overhead cranes, and other SE required in support of daily activities will be provided. Performs other tasks associated with maintaining an efficient ATE laboratory, as needed. Must have a valid state driver's license and possess an active Secret DoD security clearance. Senior Operations Logistics Manager:
Requires a bachelor's degree, ten (10) years' experience in operational logistics/maintenance engineering, and four (4) years within supervisory positions in support of acquisition or operational commands. Previous experience with MPRA acquisition and/or operational logistics/maintenance activities are highly desired. Duties include serving as a senior-level logistician assisting DAPMLs with program management, acquisition, ILS/IPS, and life-cycle management evolutions for the P-8A aircraft and related mission systems. Responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of ILS/IPS-related analysis, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management efforts as they apply to MPRA in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs. Armament/Weapons Support Equipment (AWSE) Engineering Technician:
Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a military/technical trade school resulting in an Aviation Ordnanceman (AO) Navy Occupational Specialty (NOS) Code A420 or an Aircraft Ordnance Technician, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 6531 in the USMC. Must have four (4) years of practical experience as an AO technician performing organizational/intermediate level operations and maintenance on AWSE. Experience supporting the AWSE Program along with designation as an AO Quality Assurance Representative (QAR), Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), or equivalent are highly desired. Duties include interpreting, analyzing, utilizing, evaluating, and recommending improvements to engineering drawings, schematics, parts lists, and specifications, while also assembling mechanical equipment accordingly. Must be able to clearly communicate and understand technical requirements/procedures as they pertain to mechanical/electro-mechanical SE/AWSE, while also being capable of performing test and evaluation of SE items independently. Performance of duties may occur in afloat shipboard environments, along with ashore flight-line, hangar, and AO shop locations. Additionally, must possess or be able to obtain licenses/certifications for US Navy forklifts (up to 20K lbs), Category III Overhead Hoist, Aircraft Maintenance Cranes, SE Tow Tractors, Powered Bomb Hoist, Powered Weapons Loaders, and an Airfield Operators License. May be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis, and be able to obtain and retain a DoD Secret level security clearance. Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD. Sr. Electrical Engineer:
Candidate requires a BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited ABET college or university. Must have at least 8 years of experience supporting RDT&E programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including 6 years performing in the function areas described below. Must have demonstrated experience directing, monitoring, and/or participating in the installation, configuration, calibration, and operation of engine test systems, environmental chambers, associated instrumentation, and/or data acquisition systems used for testing propulsion and electrical power systems. Prior DoD acquisition work experience is preferred. The candidate should be capable of managing programs including writing proposals, developing program plans, and providing briefing material. Functions involve applying engineering principles to modify and upgrade laboratory electrical and instrumentation systems in support of power and propulsion RDT&E programs. Prepares procurement specification inputs, interface drawings, installation design packages, and calibration procedures to accommodate unique test requirements. Oversees systems modifications, installation, integration, and checkout functions. Performs test planning, data collection, and test data analysis. Candidate must be able to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance and may be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located in Patuxent River, MD. Candidate requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited ABET college or university. Must have at least 4 years of experience supporting RDT&E programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including 2 years planning, directing, and/or participating in aircraft and laboratory testing. Functions entail providing support for electrical power quality testing and evaluation, including voltage and frequency transients/modulation, voltage distortion, and power interruption on various aircraft, shipboard, ground vehicle, and vendor prototype components and equipment. Additionally, the candidate will interface test articles with programmable power supplies and data acquisition equipment to conduct power quality tests, followed by analysis of test article responses for compliance with MIL-SPECS/MIL-STDs. In particular, candidate must have experience with MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, and FAA RTCA DO-160. Position also requires knowledge of test planning, data collection, data analysis, test report writing, and presentation of results. Further requirements include specialized knowledge and experience in the design, installation, operation, calibration, maintenance and repair of power quality test facilities, associated equipment, and their control systems. Requires a BS or BA degree in Computer Science or related technical specialty; OR a HS diploma/GED AND an additional eight (8) years of combined education/experience working within a relevant technical field. Basic experience includes at least three (3) years of computer systems related support and requires certifications in Security+ CE (or higher) and in at least one Microsoft Operating System (OS) within 180 days of employment. Additionally, knowledge and skills relating to Windows Server 2016/Windows 10 and Active directory are essential, along with ability to address service requests, routine server maintenance, and server consolidation. Additionally, this position necessitates having knowledge in Windows Server OS Security directives, DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), and Track-IT or other Helpdesk Applications. Positional duties involve providing systems administration support to maintain closed-loop network functionality; performing data backup, storage, and archiving routines; developing and submitting inputs to software user documentation; complying with NAVAIR information security guidelines; supporting configuration management requirements; and operating computers, network servers, backup storage devices, and other peripheral equipment. Junior Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace):
Candidate requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Assists senior engineers and technicians in the investigation, analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, test, and/or evaluation of military aviation support equipment (SE) and associated support systems. Supports engineers and technicians in the test, repair, and modification of common and peculiar SE for Naval aircraft and weapon systems. Participates in requirements and performance evaluation reviews, as well as assists in preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Performs functions such as system integration testing, government acceptance testing, and acquisition support with limited supervision. Must be familiar with the use of common shop tools and test equipment. Previous experience in an electrical systems or manufacturing environment is highly desired. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products in order to manage databases and generate basic test documents. Required physical activities include recurring walking, stooping, bending, light to heavy lifting (>35 lbs.), and climbing. Candidate will be trained in the operation of a standard forklift, overhead cranes, and other SE used in support of daily activities. Performs other tasks associated with maintaining an efficient mechanical/electrical laboratory, as required.
