Logistics Analyst (Supply Support – Part Time)
Job Responsibilities:
This position will support the PMA260 Aviation Support Equipment (SE) Program Office in performing Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS) related studies, analysis, and evaluations for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) SE programs. Responsibilities include analyzing and troubleshooting supply support issues for Common SE (CSE) programs and assessing overall supply chain management and health of the supply system. Duties may also include providing inputs to the CSE Fleet Support Team (FST) for Reliability Control Boards (RCBs), obsolescence issues, Operational Readiness Reviews, and Boots on the Ground events, as well as analyzing supply support strategies for new acquisition programs. Occasional travel may be required. Position is located at Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst, NJ; remote telework authorized. Position is Part Time. Requisition 2023-015.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least six (6) years’ experience in operational logistics support and/or maintenance engineering; an additional five (5) years of related experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
- Must be a US citizen, have a valid state driver’s license, and possess an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
- Experience with the Naval Aviation supply support; Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP); Defense Logistics Agency (DLA); and Transportation, Cataloging, and Maintenance Levels/Concepts is preferred.
