Configuration Management Analyst, Journeyman
Job Responsibilities:
Position directly supports the NAVAIR Aircrew Systems Program Office (PMA-202). This position manages configuration management (CM) processes throughout the lifecycle of Aircrew Systems programs, including baselining of hardware, software, and documentation; preparation of Configuration Control Board (CCB) packages; facilitation of change control meetings; assists with development, migration, deployment, and security of CM data; and performs configuration audits. Duties also involve overseeing the daily management of configuration items; performing Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA); supporting data management (DM) processes throughout the lifecycle of the program including management of hundreds of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL); conducting CM/DM inventory and CDRL deliverable processes and functions in CMPro; accurately maintaining and updating CMPro as the product matures; supporting data calls for CM/DM-related data; applying government-instituted processes for documentation, and/or chairing the CCB followed by enacting approved changes as directed. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS degree and three (3) to ten (10) years of experience within program/project Configuration Management (CM) related activities. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS degree with an additional two (2) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional four (4) years of experience.
- Familiarity with the NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) featuring the CDRL Tool, CMPro, as well as the NAVAIR Enterprise Change Management (ECM) Tool.
