PMA260 Program Analyst, Journeyman

Job Responsibilities:

Position reports directly to the PMA260 Deputy Acquisition Lead, Common Aviation Support Equipment Program Office (PMA-260) serving as an acquisition analyst supporting the Common Ground Support Equipment (CGSE) Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL). Position applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules; performsmanagement, technical, or business case analyses; collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Position will serve as the primary liaison between the IPTL, the Procurement team/Contract Specialist, the Business Financial Manager (BFM), and the Acquisition team to help improve the quality and efficiency of the procurement process across the PMA, as well as increase procurement efficiencies, decrease cycle time, execute Acquisition Strategies, drive pre-awardcompetitive procurement conversations, and improve Support Equipment delivery timeliness to the Fleet. Duties may include performance of additional tasks on an as-needed basis. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline related to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs within the Department of the Navy (DoN).
  • BA/BS degree. Allowable substitution: AS/AA degree and an additional 2 years of experience OR a HS diploma/GED with an additional 4 years experience.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have working knowledge of the acquisition process and tools including:
    • Procurement Management Tool (PMT)
    • Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT)
    • Procurement related Tableau Visualizations
  • Active Secret level DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
