In-Flight Acoustic Intelligence Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
Position will provide support for CNO Project K-0416 (Beartrap/Airborne ASW Intelligence (AAI)) efforts to include recurring standardized aircrew training, project analysis, post mission data reviews, and data collection system operation. Tasks may include delivering AAI technical and tactical training, evaluating aircrew operations and performance, providing training feedback, performing post-flight reconstruction and analysis, providing input on current and future collection systems, and supporting AAI operations. Additional responsibilities involve acquiring a Civilian Project Specialist designation to support in-flight intelligence data collection missions and training events. May be required to perform additional tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located at NAS Whidbey Island, WA. Requisition #2022-034.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Requires AA/AS degree and eight (8) years of Beartrap/AAI experience with acoustic signature/signal exploitation operations and utilization of related equipment; or a HS diploma and an additional two (2) years of AAI experience may be substituted for an AA/AS degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have a current Secret level DoD security clearance.
- U.S. aircrewman/veterans with P-3C Orion or P-8A Poseidon acoustic operator experience are highly encouraged to apply.
