Logistics Support:

Position requires a BS/BA or adequate substitution such as additional similar experience, and at least two (2) years of related administrative and analytical experience. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and CMP is required. Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) CM and TDs is highly desired. Performs non-routine administrative and analytical tasks in one or more support functions within the organization, including logistics, Configuration Management (CM), and Technical Directives (TD) support. Position also entails developing and reviewing NAVAIRINST 4130 Configuration Control Board Documents, as well as drafting, reviewing, routing for approval, and releasing TDs via naval message format. Subject Matter Expert (Aviation Support Equipment):

Requires a High School diploma/GED AND completion of a technical school, trade school, advanced armed services technical school curriculum; or completion of at least thirty (30) semester hours of technical course studies at an accredited college/university. At least fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience in one of the following areas: Business Operations, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation (T&E), and/or Training. Support Equipment (SE) experience related to the following SE commodity areas: Aircraft Handling, Servicing and Inspection; Aircraft Armament Handling; Avionics; and/or Propulsion. Responsibilities involve supporting Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) program development, project execution, business and technical operations, strategic initiatives, workforce development, or technical and organizational tasks, as required. Additionally, support will be provided for development of ALRE training curricula for fielded and future systems; liaison with Fleet stakeholders to translate new requirements, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), System Concept Documents (SCDs), and their introduction into training curricula; ECP and SCD submissions; liaison with other Program Offices (PMA and PMS) for development of ALRE training solutions; and T&E for training devices. Clerk Typist (temporary):

Candidate requires a high school diploma or GED, and at least one (1) year of clerical, secretarial, or office work experience. Must be able to operate computers and general office equipment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required, along with the ability to perform basic administrative/receptionist support – communicate effectively via phone, in person, and in writing, demonstrate good customer service skills, work independently and in a team environment, and type a minimum of 40 words per minute. MS Office product use includes scheduling support, word processing, spreadsheet creation/development/editing, and briefing material creation/editing. Must be able to create and/or edit formal and informal deliverables, and monthly progress and financial reports; arrange for meeting or conference location, record minutes, and distribute minutes to attendees; schedule, arrange, coordinate, and support Video Teleconferences (VTCs) and phone conferences; and prepare and update letters, Naval messages, directives, instructions, reports, briefings, standards and other documents, as required. Project Analyst/Logistician:

Position requires a BA/BS and at least three (3) years of experience involving similar activities as listed below. Allowable education substitution: six (6) years of additional work experience, or an Associate's Degree plus an additional four (4) years of work experience. Responsibilities include analyzing and coordinating the ongoing logistical/material movement functions of multiple Special Communications and Mission Systems (SCMS) projects. Responsible for the entire life-cycle of specific products, including acquisition, tracking status, reporting of parts and consumables, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. In particular, the position is responsible for entering, updating, and tracking material transactions in an inventory control system; performs receipts, inventories, stock issues, transfers, shipments, and movements of vehicles and equipment; processes HAZMAT shipments; and attains stock availability, initiates/updates Government Purchase Card procurements, enters National Stock Number (NSN) and HAZMAT acquisitions in the database, and tracks procurements. Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), IHS Haystack, One Touch, and HAZMAT shipment experience is highly desired. Duties may also include performing other tasks on an as-needed basis. Engineer/Scientist II:

Candidate requires a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, with at least three (3) years of engineering experience. NAVAIR engineering backgrounds are highly desired. Duties include applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and/or evaluate aviation Common Support Equipment (CSE) systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Positional duties may also include drafting, reviewing, and editing system acquisition and technical documentation, as well as developing system support strategies, J&As, SOWs, and System Engineering Plans for official Programs of Record and other unique projects. Provides engineering input during system requirements identification and decomposition, SETRs and PMRs, contract proposal technical evaluations, and in creating program cost estimates. Tracks resource and schedule dependencies across aviation CSE projects and recommends solutions to assist IPTL in assessing risks and WBS estimates. Must be able to obtain and retain a DoD Secret level security clearance. Position is located in Patuxent River, MD. Requisition #2018-049

P-8A Avionics Logistician:

Position requires a bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years' experience in DoD Life-Cycle Acquisition Logistics; allowable degree substitution consists of one (1) additional year of acquisition logistics experience. Technical backgrounds in avionics and aircraft mission systems are highly desired. Performs various tasks related to the life-cycle development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of P-8A Poseidon weapon systems supportability and maintainability programs. Assists with evaluation of ILS technical specifications; identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; and development of logistics support and maintainability programs/plans. Supports analysis of systems acquisition requirements; budgetary or financial documentation; and life cycle costs and controls. Develops, modifies, prepares, and/or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems. Additionally, identifies, analyzes, and provides recommendations to mitigate risk due to equipment/component obsolescence and potential counterfeit-related supply chains. P-8A Poseidon Senior Operations Logistics Manager:

Position requires a BS/BA or adequate substitution such as additional logistics coursework or DAWIA certifications, and at least 10 years of operational logistics support or logistics engineering experience. Must have worked in senior-level positions performing logistics functions while supporting a DoD operational command. Backgrounds in aviation mission systems are highly desired, especially those related to acoustics and anti-submarine warfare. Provides guidance and supervision for logistics managers in performing logistics planning and management functions in support of the P-8A aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs. Specifically, provides DAPML support to the P-8A Mission Systems Team for a variety of current and new avionics, to include Acoustic, Radar, Electronic Warfare, Navigation, and flight control systems. Reviews recommended changes from the MPRA Fleet and other activities, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Configuration Management planning, Site Activation Schedules, Weapon Systems Planning Documents, Training Plans, Support Equipment schedules, Program Objective Memorandum inputs, and Business Case Analyses. Technical Director/Senior Program Manager:

Position requires a BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university. Professional Logistician designation from SOLE, DAWIA Level III Life Cycle Logistics, DAWIA Level III Program Management, and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are highly desirable. Also, must have a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in the DoD support and acquisition environment with five (5) of the last ten years directly supporting NAVAIR programs, as well as having at least five (5) years' experience as a CSS Program Manager, or a similar role, responsible for contract execution and technical performance goals. Provides management oversight and control of contracts with primary responsibilities involving task planning, personnel management, risk assessment, and performance control. Routinely interfaces with the COR, TPOC, IPT leads, APMLs, DAPMLs, and CSS PMs to assess performance status and provide corporate-level contract support. Assists the Director of Business Development in proposal preparation, coordination, and development. Candidate must be able to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance and will be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located in Patuxent River, MD. MK-48 Technical Publications Coordinator:

Position requires a High School diploma or GED, and at least four (4) years of experience in the Heavyweight Torpedo Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) environment understanding the application of procedure compliance, the Automated Process Control System (APCS), and technical publication conformity. Additionally, position requires accurate and efficient keyboarding skills and a thorough knowledge of MS Office products to include Word, Excel, and Access. An AA/AS along with four (4) years' experience in a technical/maintenance publications library is highly desired. Positional duties include performing verification reviews of the torpedo group's processing actions such as Objective Quality Evidence and maintenance efforts; reporting and processing deficiencies in accordance with the Customer's Quality Management System; conducting operational surveillance as part of oversight and compliance of QA requirements; reviews, prepares, and updates the MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo technical manuals and all in­house documents; and provides monthly metric data for QA audits to the IMA. Also, position is accountable to the Technical Program Manager as the QA Top Level reviewer. Must have the ability to function independently and as a team member in an active and demanding work environment. May be required to perform other tasks as necessary. Senior Operations Logistics Manager:

Candidate requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college, university, or degree substitution and ten (10) years' experience in operational logistics/maintenance engineering and four (4) years of supervising three or more logisticians in support of an acquisition or operational command. Functions as a senior-level logistician in assisting Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) DAPMLs with program management, acquisition, ILS/IPS, and life-cycle management evolutions for P-3 and P-8 aircraft and mission systems. In particular, this position will support the MPRA Propulsion and Power (P&P) IPT, which includes all activities involving the T56A turboprop and CFM56 turbofan engines. Leads and coordinates the execution of ILS/IPS-related analysis, requirements definition, planning, development, integration, implementation, and management efforts as they apply to domestic and FMS MPRA in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and/or SE programs. Must be a U.S. Citizen, able to obtain/retain a Secret security level clearance, and perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD. Requisition #2018-034

MPRA Logistician:

Position requires a bachelor's degree or adequate substitution such as additional logistics coursework or DAWIA certifications, and at least 10 years of operational logistics support or logistics engineering experience. Must have worked in senior-level positions performing logistics functions or logistics engineering services while supporting a DoD operational command. Candidate will assist in the planning, development, incorporation, and evaluation of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft's intermediate and depot level maintenance programs. Candidate will also coordinate establishment of maintenance capabilities for new acquisition systems related to the P-8A. Engineering Technician III (Test Cell Propulsion):

Candidate must have a HS diploma or GED, and completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments/ordnance, or engineering technology; or completion of at least thirty (30) semester hours of course studies at an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum. Must be able to obtain/hold held certification to run at least one type of engine in these facilities. Must have the ability to obtain a license to operate several pieces of aircraft Support Equipment. Must have 10 years of practical experience in the test propulsion field – operating and maintaining aircraft propulsion systems and associated support systems. Will operate and maintain gas turbine engine test facilities and associated propulsion systems support equipment. Will conduct various tests which may require minor modifications in test set-ups and procedures as well as subjective judgments in assessing measurements. Prepares items for test, operates items under test, and records the test data, identifying deviations resulting from equipment malfunctions or observational errors. Must be able to obtain/retain a Secret level security clearance and perform additional tasks on an as-needed basis. Position located in Patuxent River, MD. Requisition #2018-032

Engineering Technician (ATE/TPS) :

Position requires a High School diploma or GED, completion of a Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Operator/Maintainer course, and four years' experience operating/maintaining CASS stations. Qualification as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) and/or CASS calibration technician is highly desired. Must be familiar with the use of common and peculiar shop tools and test equipment. Functional duties include providing support to engineers and technicians in the maintenance and operation of electronic Consolidated Automated Support Systems (eCASS) within a test and evaluation environment. Additional duties include the preparation of engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation, as well as performing functions such as Operational Test Program Set (OTPS) testing, government acceptance testing, and other U.S. Navy acquisition and sustainment support. Training for standard forklifts, overhead cranes, and other SE required in support of daily activities will be provided. Performs other tasks associated with maintaining an efficient ATE laboratory, as needed. Must have a valid state driver's license and possess an active Secret DoD security clearance. Junior Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical):

Candidate requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Assists senior engineers and technicians in the investigation, analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, test, and/or evaluation of military aviation support equipment (SE) and associated support systems. Supports engineers and technicians in the test, repair, and modification of common and peculiar SE for Naval aircraft and weapon systems. Participates in requirements and performance evaluation reviews, as well as assists in preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Performs functions such as system integration testing, government acceptance testing, and acquisition support with limited supervision. Must be familiar with the use of common shop tools and test equipment. Previous experience in an electrical systems or manufacturing environment is highly desired. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products in order to manage databases and generate basic test documents. Required physical activities include recurring walking, stooping, bending, light to heavy lifting (>35 lbs.), and climbing. Candidate will be trained in the operation of a standard forklift, overhead cranes, and other SE used in support of daily activities. Performs other tasks associated with maintaining an efficient mechanical/electrical laboratory, as required. Administrative Assistant (part-time/on-call):

Candidate requires a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of three (3) years office-related administrative support experience is desired. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required, along with being able to communicate effectively, demonstrate good customer service skills, work independently as well as in a team environment, and type a minimum of 40 words per minute. Proficiency in use of Defense Travel System (DTS), BASICS II, Common Message Processor (CMP) for Naval Messages, Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS), and MS Access is a plus. Performs basic administrative/receptionist support, prepares travel requests, coordinates travel/lodging arrangements, and assists in completing travel claims. Utilizes MS Office software to perform word processing, data entry, transcription, graphics preparation, digital filing, reproduction, email/mail distribution, and other administrative duties as required. Maintains office supply inventory and orders replacements as needed. Schedules conference rooms, video teleconferences, and meetings. Engineering Technician III (Test Cell):

Educational requirements include a High School diploma/GED; AND completion of a technical/trade school, advanced armed services technical school curriculum, course of training in a technical field, OR at least 30 semester hours at an accredited college/university in technical curriculum. Position requires at least six (6) years of practical experience in a "Relevant Technical Field"; AND one (1) year of experience in design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents and drawings. Candidates must also possess a general knowledge of engines, gearboxes, lubricant systems, bearing and gear systems, and hydraulic systems of various engines and accessories acquired through on-the-job exposure. Positional responsibilities include supporting the installation, setup, maintenance, and operation of test articles, control systems, support equipment, and facilities for propulsion and power test operations. Additionally, duties involve modification and/or upgrade of existing test facilities, equipment, and data acquisition systems to meet specific program evaluation requirements. Experience in the operation and maintenance of Gas Turbine Engines in a test cell environment or other test cell experience is highly desired. Systems Administrator:

Requires a BS or BA degree in Computer Science or related technical specialty; OR a HS diploma/GED AND an additional eight (8) years of combined education/experience working within a relevant technical field. Basic experience includes at least three (3) years of computer systems related support and requires certifications in Security+ CE (or higher) and in at least one Microsoft Operating System (OS) within 180 days of employment. Additionally, knowledge and skills relating to Windows Server 2008/Windows 7 and Active directory are essential, along with ability to address service requests, routine server maintenance, and server consolidation. Additionally, this position necessitates having knowledge in Windows Server OS Security directives, DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), and Track-IT or other Helpdesk Applications. Positional duties involve providing systems administration support to maintain closed-loop network functionality; performing data backup, storage, and archiving routines; developing and submitting inputs to software user documentation; complying with NAVAIR information security guidelines; supporting configuration management requirements; and operating computers, network servers, backup storage devices, and other peripheral equipment. Junior Engineering Technician:

Candidate requires High School diploma or GED and have either 1-year experience performing Engineering Technician functions or 24 credit hours of technical courses. Candidate must be familiar with electrical wiring and related components, as well as be able to interpret wiring schematics. Must also be able to operate basic hand tools associated with maintaining lab equipment, and be proficient in the use of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Candidate will perform technical and administrative tasks assisting other technicians and engineers in the operation and maintenance of Qualified Products List (QPL) laboratory test facility systems used to test wiring and connectors for military aircraft and associated systems. Specifically, candidate will provide assistance and technical support in matters related to aircraft wiring interconnect systems, such as the set-up, conduct, analysis, and reporting of qualification testing; monitoring, identification, and investigation of adverse trends affecting the quality of development, production, and installation of USN aircraft wiring and equipment; supporting the assessment of aircraft wiring and equipment performance and reliability; and evaluating and providing inputs to specifications, designs, processes, tooling, parts, materials, quality control, and production techniques of proposed installations. Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and work independently as well as in a team environment. Subject Matter Expert:

Candidate requires a high school diploma/GED and fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience in one of the following four (4) subject areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, or Training. Must have demonstrated experience in applying electrical power systems (EPS) principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, modify, upgrade, test and/or evaluate military aircraft electrical power components or systems. Prior DoD acquisition work experience is preferred. Candidate will primarily serve as an Instrumentation Engineering SME/Technician responsible for the design, development, fabrication, installation, calibration, operation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation systems and related components used in data acquisition and/or ground test control of aircraft engines and accessories. Prepares, calibrates, configures, operates, and collects data from specialized instrumentation systems to perform infrared, vibration, and sound measurement analyses. Sr. Electrical Engineer:

Candidate requires a BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited ABET college or university. Must have at least 8 years of experience supporting RDT&E programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including 6 years performing in the function areas described below. Must have demonstrated experience directing, monitoring, and/or participating in the installation, configuration, calibration, and operation of engine test systems, environmental chambers, associated instrumentation, and/or data acquisition systems used for testing propulsion and electrical power systems. Prior DoD acquisition work experience is preferred. The candidate should be capable of managing programs including writing proposals, developing program plans, and providing briefing material. Functions involve applying engineering principles to modify and upgrade laboratory electrical and instrumentation systems in support of power and propulsion RDT&E programs. Prepares procurement specification inputs, interface drawings, installation design packages, and calibration procedures to accommodate unique test requirements. Oversees systems modifications, installation, integration, and checkout functions. Performs test planning, data collection, and test data analysis. Candidate must be able to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance and may be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located in Patuxent River, MD. Electrical Engineer:

Candidate requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited ABET college or university. Must have at least 4 years of experience supporting RDT&E programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including 2 years planning, directing, and/or participating in aircraft and laboratory testing. Functions entail providing support for electrical power quality testing and evaluation, including voltage and frequency transients/modulation, voltage distortion, and power interruption on various aircraft, shipboard, ground vehicle, and vendor prototype components and equipment. Additionally, the candidate will interface test articles with programmable power supplies and data acquisition equipment to conduct power quality tests, followed by analysis of test article responses for compliance with MIL-SPECS/MIL-STDs. In particular, candidate must have experience with MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, and FAA RTCA DO-160. Position also requires knowledge of test planning, data collection, data analysis, test report writing, and presentation of results. Further requirements include specialized knowledge and experience in the design, installation, operation, calibration, maintenance and repair of power quality test facilities, associated equipment, and their control systems. Engineer (EO/IR Specialist):

Candidate requires a BS in an engineering/physics discipline; Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience researching, analyzing, planning, designing, developing, implementing, testing, or evaluating military weapon systems. At least 2 years of experience is required in performing engineering functions with respect to support, research, or development of simulation and stimulation of avionics and sensor systems as they relate to aircraft systems test and evaluation. Additionally, requires 2 years of experience operating and maintaining EW and Electronic Combat simulation/stimulation equipment for EO/IR systems. Candidate shall have experience with IR target (threat and friendly) scene generation, IR collimators, and IR cameras and measurement equipment. Must have specific knowledge on operations and maintenance of Amherst Systems' Infra-Red Sensor Stimulator (IRSS), Georgia Tech Missile Plume Simulator or similar systems. Familiarity with physics and math, graphics cards, Linux, MATLAB, and software CM tools and processes is desired. Candidate will apply engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes, researches, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems, associated support systems, or management information systems. Specifically, will operate IR scene generators, utilize computer models, and operate/calibrate laboratory hardware. Will design missile simulations, conduct tests, collect and analyze data, track test parameters and file configurations, and generate requisite data, plots, and reports. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation as required.
